Charlottesville Named in Top 5 Healthiest Cities Ranking

In its upcoming February 2010 issue, Men’s Journal magazine named Charlottesville, VA one of the top five healthiest cities in the United States. The magazine used findings from Sperling’s Best Places, a research firm located in Portland, OR, that ranks cities across the U.S.  Charlottesville’s top ranking is attributed to a variety of factors, including: the mild climate, alternative commuting options, proximity to the University Health System, and green living practices.
