Question: I just submitted my Round 1 application a few days ago. When will interview invitations start going out from Darden?

Answer: Interview invitations will not start to go out until later next week, but please keep in mind that we invite applicants for interviews on a rolling basis (as we review the applications) all the way up to the decision deadline date.

Question: As a re-applicant, if I receive an interview again this year, do I need to fly to Charlottesville again?

Answer: Yes, you would.

Question: If I get accepted and for some reason I can’t start in 2012, is there a chance you can hold my seat for another year?

Answer: We offer deferrals only to those who cannot get out of a military obligation or who have a medical reason not to be able to join us.

Question: Is this the heaviest recruiting season at Darden now?

Answer: This is a very busy time of year for our Career Development Center. Over the course of this week and next we will have over 60 companies on Grounds interviewing our Second Year students for full-time job opportunities and presenting to our First Years about internships.
