The Graduate Women in Business (GWIB) club invites prospective female students to attend the annual GWIB conference on Friday, 5 October from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. In line with this year’s theme, “The Pursuit of Happiness: Blazing Your Own Trail”, we have an exciting lineup of panelists covering topics:
- “Putting Your Best Foot Forward”
- “Boardroom Perspectives: Getting There and Making an Impact”
- “Playing your Hand: Women and the Art of Negotiation”
The GWIB conference is a great opportunity for prospective students to engage with Darden women in the dialogue about women’s issues, as well as gain early exposure to some of GWIB’s corporate sponsors. In addition to the panels, you will join current Darden students over breakfast and lunch, which are included as part of the nominal $10 participation fee.

Please note that while class visits are not available on Friday, 5 October, prospective students are welcome to contact the Admissions Office to schedule a meeting with a member of the Admissions committee and go on a self-guided walking tour. To schedule an appointment with admissions, please email admissionscoordinator@darden.virginia.edu. The Admissions Office will also be hosting a reception the evening before here on the Darden Grounds and all prospective students are welcome to attend.
