Darden’s International Food Festival

In this post, Second Year student Taku Nogochi talks about an ongoing Darden tradition — the International Food Festival:

The International Food Festival is one of Darden’s most anticipated social events of the fall — an outdoor food festival held right on Flagler Courtyard!  This year, over 700 people attended this event. You’ll find teams of Darden community members competing for coveted awards and serving up their culinary creations at colorfully decorated tables, each with a different cultural or country theme.  You definitely don’t want to miss the Argentinian grill…  The food festival is a great way to experience Darden’s diverse cultural make up and discover hidden culinary talents!  Perhaps best of all, it’s a true Darden community gathering, with professors, staff, students, partners, and family members bustling about, sampling different dishes, and enjoying the festival’s music and dance performances.  India took home the “Best Overall Team” award – who’s going to win next year??
