One of Darden’s many entrepreneurship opportunities, the Darden Business Incubator is designed to help students who are interested in developing promising early-stage business ventures. In addition to providing space in which to work, the support of the Darden community and faculty, and valuable networking opportunities, Darden also provides seed money—over $13,000 per venture—thanks to the generous backing of the Batten Endowment.
One of the 11 companies in the Incubator this summer is Forgetful Gentleman, LLC, a company that sells cards to the “Forgetful Gentleman” and packages them inside of a cigar box. Co-founders Nate Tan and Brett Nicol (both Darden MBA 2009 graduates) recently launched a new website www.forgetfulgentleman.com and were also featured in Charlottesville’s Daily Progress and NBC29.
