Darden Rises in Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s Full-Time MBA Ranking

Today Bloomberg BusinessWeek released its “2010 Full-Time MBA Rankings,” and the Darden School of Business is pleased to announce that the School rose five places to the #11 spot.

In an accompanying article, “The Best U.S. Business Schools 2010,” Darden’s Director of Career Development Jack Oakes is quoted disucussing recent initiatives to help students find jobs during the economic downturn.

Impressions on Banking and the Job Market

The New York Times recently published an interactive feature called Their Reasons for Optimism, which includes brief audio interviews with Darden students Ikeogu Imo, Amelia Finnerty and Ben Bloomfield, as well as Director of Admissions Sara Neher and Career Development Center Director Jack Oakes. These members of the Darden Community offer their “thoughts on why some students are still attracted to banking despite the industry’s downturn.” The feature also includes a related article called Job Market Stabilizes for Business Students, which highlights Darden students Kwame Yankson and Ben Bloomfield and their experiences with recruiting.
