The value of your Executive MBA experience will be significantly impacted by the caliber of your classmates, professors and learning environment. Last year, 100 percent of Darden’s Executive MBA students that visited the School during their research process rated the day as either “influential” or “very influential” in their decision to apply to Darden.
Visiting the schools you are applying to allows you to:
- Experience the teaching method
- Meet faculty and current students in the program and ask them about their experiences
- Test-drive your commute
- Better understand the similarities and differences between programs
Darden offers both Class Visit Days (where you observe an actual Executive MBA class and attend lunch with current students) and Open Houses (where you participate in a case method class with other prospective students, attend lunch with current students as well as a career panel and tour). We recommend both events to help you get to know the Darden School of Business.
Class Visits Days kick off this fall during the MBA for Executives Class of 2014 residency on Thursday, 6 September and Friday, 7 September. Class Visit Days will also be hosted on 4 & 5 October and 1 & 2 November. Registration for the October and November Class Visit Days will open soon so check back.
The next Open House is on Saturday, 3 November. Registration is now open!
Class Visits and Open Houses will resume in January 2013 and continue throughout the spring. We look forward to seeing you on the Darden Grounds soon!
