Contact an Executive MBA Student

Balancing work, life and school is a common concern for executive MBA students, and we’re often asked the question, “How will the program work with my schedule?”

While we encourage you to learn more about the convenient combination of in-person residencies and distance learning in Darden’s EMBA and GEMBA, you’ll learn more about the day-to-day schedule through talking to a current student.

Helpful questions to ask include:

  • What are the advantages of meeting both online and in-person?
  • How do learning teams meet when you’re off-Grounds?
  • What lessons from class are you able to apply immediately at work?

You can search for current students by industry or geographic region on these pages:

Please note that these students have busy schedules since they work full time, and it may take them a few days to respond to your email.

I have an inquiry regarding the Executive MBA program. What is minimum work experience requirement for taking admission to Executive MBA?
I will really appreciate your reply.

  2. Fareine Benz says:

    Greetings Debosmita,

We don’t have a required minimum for admissions into our Executive MBA formats, but we do have a preferred minimum of seven years. The typical MBA for Executives (EMBA) and Global MBA for Executives (GEMBA) student has between 6-25 years of full-time work experience.

If you’d like to learn more about opportunities in EMBA or GEMBA, we will be hosting several Executive MBA admissions events this spring. You can also email us at with any questions.

    Kind regards,
    Darden Admissions
