Throughout the year, Darden hosts Open Houses during our Executive MBA residencies to give prospective students a firsthand look at these formats: the MBA for Executives (EMBA) and Global MBA for Executives (GEMBA).
EMBA and GEMBA feature the same faculty, curriculum and case method experience as Darden’s full-time MBA format and they result in the same degree: a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia.
At the 8 February, Executive MBA Open House you’ll have the opportunity to experience a case method discussion, as taught by two members of Darden’s world-renowned faculty. Following class, you’ll enjoy remarks and Q & A with the Associate Deans for both EMBA and GEMBA. You’ll then lunch with current MBA for Executives students. After lunch, you’ll get your questions answered at an interactive panel discussion with leaders from Career Development, Financial Aid, Admissions and Operations. You’ll end the day with a tour of the Darden Grounds.
Students tell us that attending a Darden Open House was critical to their Executive MBA research process and to understanding what makes Darden different.
Your spouse or significant other is also welcome to attend. Prior to this event, registrants will be sent class preparation materials. Materials will be made available to late registrants upon check-in.
