We recently sat down with three members of our Executive MBA Class of 2020 — Trevor Beasley (EMBA ‘20), Emily Kelly (EMBA ‘20) and Alicia Braxton (EMBA ‘20) — to discuss their decision to pursue an MBA and what they see as the ultimate value of their Darden experience.
While all reported an MBA decision initially rooted in a desire to gain a solid, holistic foundation in business, each noted that the impact of their time at Darden was ultimately much greater — Confidence. Career control. Community. Leadership development. Self-awareness. And beyond.
As Kelly notes at the video’s conclusion: “Darden is the best school for getting your MBA if you want to work with people. It is a program that pushes you to better understand yourself and to understand the world around you. You will come into the program learning the foundations, and what you will come out with is a community. A community of people that will support you, who will be there for you for life.”
But don’t take our word for it. Hear firsthand from Beasley, Kelly and Braxton:
