The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is proud to announce the 2024 Future Year Scholars Program (FYSP) class profile.
Future Year Scholars apply to join a future Full-Time MBA (FTMBA) cohort while in their final year of undergraduate studies and will begin the program after gaining two to five years of work experience.
Here are some quick facts about the 121 students we admitted to the Future YEar Scholars Program in 2024!
- 41% identify as women
- 20% are international students, representing 16 countries by citizenship
- The average age is 22
- 11% identify as LGBTQ+
- 46% have non-business undergraduate degrees
- They hail from 43 undergraduate institutions
- 9% are first generation college students
- 42% identify as part of a U.S. minority group
- The median GPA is 3.6 (based on U.S. Schools that use a 4.0 grading system)
- Average GRE: 320
- Average GMAT: 726
