The Future Year Scholars Program application deadline is less than two months away! Read on for a step-by-step guide to submit your materials by 4 August.
Am I Eligible?
The Future Year Scholars Program (FYSP) is the University of Virginia Darden School of Business’ deferred enrollment program. Students who graduate between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2025 are eligible to apply in this round, even if you begin full-time employment after graduation.
If you are admitted to the FYSP, you will work for two to five years in your chosen field before coming to Darden for the Full-Time MBA.
The Application Roadmap
- Start and review your application
- Identify two recommenders
- Acquire transcripts from your previous institutions
- Take a standardized test — GRE, GMAT, Executive Assessment (EA), MCAT or LSAT. SAT or ACT are also accepted.
- Tailor and submit your resume
- Compose your short answer essays
- Review and submit your application. There is no application fee!
