The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is proud to share the 2025 Future Year Scholars Program (FYSP) class profile!
112 students were admitted this year, which means that after two to five years working in their chosen fields, they will come to Darden to begin the Full-Time MBA Program.
Here are some quick facts about the newest cohort:
- 35% identify as women
- 16% are international students, representing 10 nationalities
- They hail from 51 different undergraduate institutions
- 13% are first generation college students
- 35% identify as part of a U.S. minority group
- Their median GPA is 3.78 (based on U.S. Schools that use a 4.0 grading system)
- Average GRE: 322
- Average GMAT: 665

FYSP Eligibility & 2026 Deadlines
The FYSP is UVA Darden’s deferred enrollment program for undergraduate students or fifth-year master’s students in their final year of study. Students who graduate between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026 are eligible to apply in 2026, even if they begin full-time employment after graduation.
2026 FYSP deadlines:
- Round 1: 22 April 2026
- Round 2: 15 July 2026
