Companies today face an unprecedented rate of change, and their senior leaders must be agile decision-makers and global strategists who steer their organizations through volatility to drive growth. To meet these ever-evolving needs, Darden is refreshing our flagship senior leadership experience, The Executive Program (TEP) for 2018, extending the program to four weeks from 3-29 June 2018.

Based on feedback from our client organizations and participants, as well as an active, eventful 2017 program that included a residency in Washington, D.C., the expanded program will provide more opportunities for participants to engage with faculty and peers from around the world, dig deeper into their specific challenges and opportunities, and take advantage of a variety of personal development and enrichment activities.

“Whether you’re new to the c-suite or preparing for a major strategic initiative, you’ll leave TEP with a fresh mindset, ready to drive growth and lead successfully in our complex, interconnected society,” states Tom Steenburgh, Senior Associate Dean for Executive Education and TEP faculty leader. Each TEP cohort is unique, attracting executive-level leaders from every continent, and representing such diverse industries as aerospace, consumer services, banking/finance, consulting, defense contracting, insurance, military, mining, nonprofit, oil, telecom, bio/pharma, chemical and construction.

The TEP staff and faculty team are collaborating with partner organizations to ensure the 2018 program meets the evolving needs of executive leaders and addresses the most current, pressing issues in our volatile political and economic environment. Look for more details on specific themes, topics and activities as program plans are finalized.

If you are interested in applying for TEP, or wish to nominate a senior executive from your organization, we recommend that you speak with the TEP program director, Rebecca Yancey (434-243-5174) for a consultation prior to application. She can help answer any questions you have about the program, faculty, travel and accommodations, etc.

We’re looking forward to another transformational journey with our TEP 2018 cohort and hope that you or your senior leaders will join us.
