On August 15th and 16th, over 90 international students from the class of 2015 participated in Darden’s International Student Orientation Program (ISOP). ISOP is a hallmark event managed by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and supported by the Center for Global Initiatives at Darden. ISOP helps kick-off the new academic year by bringing together the incoming international students and various Second Year students to get a preview of what to expect in the next two years at Darden. Sessions included mock cases with esteemed Darden faculty, panels of Second Year students covering student life at Darden and recruiting advice specific to international students, and important information regarding student visa status maintenance and financial aid. There was also many socializing opportunities for students to get to know each other such as playing Human Bingo and a speed networking session. At the end of ISOP, students left feeling excited and energized about what their time at Darden will bring. The Class of 2015 begins their First Week orientation this week and will be the first time the students meet in their sections and Learning Teams. This is always an exciting time of the year at Darden!
