This past October, 21 students (photo below) from Brazil’s Institute of Education and Research (Insper) came to Darden on an International Partner Program to engage with Darden faculty, staff and students. This program is sponsored by the Darden Center for Global Initiatives. The Insper students learned more about networking and the power of relationship building not only between people, but discussed innovative networking approaches between companies as well. They discovered that business needs and challenges are not so different between the U.S. and Brazil. At the end of the program, students said that they gained more business confidence to conduct business on a global scale. Outside of the classroom, they met up with the Darden Soccer Club for a few friendly futbol matches.
