NAFSA, the Association of International Educators, announced yesterday that the University of Virginia was selected as one of five higher education institutions to receive the 2015 Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization. Darden’s Center for Global Initiatives activities were submitted with other UVA materials for the award review process. The Senator Paul Simon Awards recognize excellent and comprehensive integration of international activities throughout a particular college or university’s academic and student life programs.
