Darden’s Center for Global Initiatives welcomed students and faculty from the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (HWZ) to Darden grounds 10-15 March for an international partner program focused on international management. The program included courses on business ethics, marketing strategy, innovation and leadership from the Darden faculty team of Bobby Parmar, Raj Venkatesan, Andy Wicks and Kim Whitler. The group from Switzerland, consisting of 48 MSc and executive MBA students and three faculty members, toured the University of Virginia’s academical village and King Family Vineyards, where they learned about business development and the wine-making process from co-founder Ellen King.
