During the week of March 7, the Darden Center for Global Initiatives hosted 38 students and three administrators from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ) in Zürich, Switzerland for a program in Charlottesville on international marketing and management. In the 12th year of the joint program between Darden and HWZ, Darden professors Raj Venkatesan, Bobby Parmar, Andy Wicks and Ron Wilcox taught sessions on ethics, marketing, and digital business. The HWZ group toured UVA’s academical village, led by a member of the University Guide Service, and King Family Vineyards to learn about the family-owned local business, led by co-founder Ellen King and wine director Matt Brown.
