Twenty-six INCAE Business School executive master of finance (EMF) students from across Latin America took part in Darden’s “Financial Innovation: New Products and Financial Engineering” virtual program through the Center for Global Initiatives. Darden faculty members Marc Lipson, Elena Loutskina and Yiorgos Allayannis led the finance program, which was offered in-person in 2019 and transitioned to a virtual offering in 2020. The intensive program included three case discussion sessions per day on topics including risk shifting and financial innovation, fintech, social impact bonds, and leveraged transactions in private equity, among many others. In partnership with INCAE, the program is offered in both English and Spanish via simultaneous interpretation.
