The Darden Art Project (DART) has been celebrating the global experiences of the Darden community since 2008, visually enriching the school’s café and classroom hallways while raising money for charity. Founded by Chrissa Pagitsas (MBA ’09), DART is an annual contest inviting students, faculty, staff and alumni to submit photos for a chance to have their submission featured on Darden’s walls for the year to come. Each year, DART is led by the Graduate Women in Business Club (GWIB) and sponsored by the Darden Center for Global Initiatives.
As the new academic year commences and the Darden community continues to grow, we eagerly anticipate the diverse global experiences that the incoming class will bring. We encourage all members of the expanding Darden community to share their unique international perspectives during this year’s contest by submitting original photographs of people and places from around the world.
Darden faculty, students, staff and alumni can submit up to three photos using this link. The submission deadline is Friday, January 27, 2025. Following the close of the submission window, a selection committee of Darden students, faculty and staff will gather to review the anonymized photographs and choose 30 winning images. Please only submit your own photos that you own the rights to.
Chosen photos will be printed, framed, and displayed in the hallways of Darden and in Café 67. The winning photographs from DART 2024 currently adorning these spaces will be sold during Darden Reunion Weekend on Friday, April 25th, 2025, with all proceeds benefiting a charity selected by GWIB.
We look forward to seeing the world through your lens and celebrating the rich tapestry of experiences that make up the Darden community.
