New semester, new faces, and new perspectives. This spring, Darden is excited to welcome a new group of exchange students from top business schools across the globe.

This semester’s exchange students are coming to Darden from:

  • University of St. Gallen (USG), Switzerland
  • Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), Sweden
  • IAE Business School, Argentina
  • Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), China
  • Hitotsubashi University (HIT), Japan

Not only will these students be diving into elective coursework and Darden’s signature case method, but they will also be joining their classmates in student organizations, co-curricular offerings, and community events. We hope they are able to experience everything that makes the Darden community so special. We can’t wait for you to meet them and to see how their unique backgrounds and perspectives help our community grow this spring.

We asked a few of our incoming students what they are most looking forward to and how they hope to contribute during their time at Darden.

Max, joining us from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, is excited for a learning environment that feels more engaging and student-centered than the formal, hands-off classrooms he’s known in Europe. He’s particularly excited to get a front row seat to the strong sense of community and sports culture that are such a big part of American campus life.

With a background in consulting and healthcare, Max hopes to contribute his experiences and perspective to classroom discussions. Beyond academics, Max is eager to bring a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm to building relationships, getting involved, and fully immersing himself in life on Grounds.

Margarita, coming from IAE Business School in Argentina, is eager to develop her leadership skills through Darden’s immersive case method and learn from classmates with diverse professional backgrounds. She’s especially interested in understanding the integration of values and ethics into business decision making.

During her time at Darden, Margarita hopes to contribute insights shaped by her experience in emerging markets and agribusiness sector, particularly around leading change in complex and dynamic environments. She’s looking forward to engaging with and collaborating alongside members of the Darden community throughout the semester.

Be sure to say hello to Max, Margarita, as well as Niklas, Raymond, and Samuel – and help us welcome them to Darden. We’re glad to have them here and look forward to learning with and from them this spring!
