In 2008, The Darden Art Project (DART) was born out of a vision to fill our building with the creativity and rich global experiences that are at the heart of the Darden community. Originally proposed by Chrissa Pagitsas (MBA ’09) as her final paper for Professor Alec Horniman’s “Leadership Learning Lab,” DART has since transformed the walls of Darden into a vibrant gallery celebrating these journeys.

Each year, this photography competition offers members of the Darden community the opportunity to share glimpses of the people, places, and moments they have interacted with in the United States and around the world. Graduate Women in Business (GWIB) alongside the Darden Center for Global Initiatives (CGI) invites all students, alumni, faculty, and staff to submit their original photographs, share their stories, and embrace the global mission of Darden together.

Submit up to three photos using this link! Submission deadline is Monday, January 26, 2026.

A committee of Darden students, faculty and staff will select 30 images. These winning photos will be printed, framed, and displayed throughout Darden and in Café 67 for the year to come. The current collection of DART 2025 winning photographs, which has proudly adorned our spaces and shared its stories, will be sold during Darden Reunion Weekend on Friday, April 24, 2026, with proceeds benefiting a charity selected by GWIB.

We are eager to see the world through your lens, celebrate the diverse experiences that enrich our community, and embrace the world beyond the classroom!
