Led by the Darden faculty team of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darden.virginia.edu\/faculty-research\/directory\/raul-o-chao\/\">Raul Chao<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darden.virginia.edu\/faculty-research\/directory\/thomas-j-steenburgh\/\">Tom Steenburgh<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darden.virginia.edu\/faculty-research\/directory\/elena-loutskina\/\">Elena Loutskina<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darden.virginia.edu\/faculty-research\/directory\/bidhan-l-parmar\/\">Bobby Parmar<\/a>, the program included sessions on leadership, marketing, operations and financial aspects of entrepreneurship. Students learned about financing and scaling up startups, navigating difficult conversations as leaders, and utilizing a design thinking mindset for innovation. Apart from class sessions, the program included a company visit to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reasonbeer.com\/#index\">Reason Beer<\/a>, Charlottesville\u2019s newest brewery, where PAD students heard from co-founder Jeff Raileanu, as well as a visit to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ilab.virginia.edu\/\">UVA\u2019s iLab<\/a>, where iLab senior director\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ilab.virginia.edu\/team\">David Touve<\/a>\u00a0instructed the group on how to pitch a startup venture.
