D<\/span>uring the 2018-2019 academic year, Darden full-time and executive MBA students participated in global immersions, global topics courses, completed consulting projects and exchange programs offered across 50+ locations in 25 countries.\u00a0 By May, 85% of the full-time graduating Class of 2019 participated in a global course during their degree at Darden.\u00a0 In January and March of this year, 180 students in the Class of 2019 participated in one of the Darden Worldwide global immersion<\/a> or global topics<\/a> courses.\u00a0 For 53 of those students, their January or March course was their second, third or even fourth global course at Darden.<\/p>\n

The full-time Class of 2020 students had their first opportunity to participate in a Darden Worldwide Course this May. Many utilized a Batten Foundation Darden Worldwide Scholarship<\/a> to cover the cost of the course fee.\u00a0\u00a0246 students (72% of the class) took advantage of the opportunity to travel with Darden faculty and their peers to one of eight countries, capping off their first year at Darden with a transformational learning experience.<\/p>\n
