Darden students recently celebrated the end of the school year at the SWOT (School Was Outstanding Today) Carnival. The community gathered for fun and festivities to hear some tunes courtesy of an all-star faculty and student blues jam band, enjoy drinks, fresh air, and conversation, and attempted to dunk a professor or two in the dunk tank! The event also showcased food, a mechanical bull, cotton candy and a petting zoo (including baby goats!).

SWOT Advisor Ed Warwick, assistant dean of the full-time MBA program and student affairs, highlighted the unique student initiative, “It’s a committee of Second Year Students who partner with the Office of Student Affairs and are charged with creating spontaneous fun and joy for First Years (and sometimes Second Years) often at the times when student need it most! SWOT likes to surprise, bring the fun and celebrate the community!”
