Pursuing an MBA begins differently for every student. Whether you are looking to grow in your current role or make a career switch, our professional degree programs are here to support your path to an MBA.

We recently caught up with three current working professional students to hear about how they made their way to UVA Darden.

Meet the students

Eugene Cho
, Part-Time MBA Class of 2025, is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Deloitte. Originally from Seoul, Korea, his work has brought him all around the U.S. and he has been in northern Virginia for the past seven years. His work aims to bridge the gap between technical and business segments. While at Darden, he has made life-long friends and built out his network across the globe.

Catharine Parnell, Executive MBA Class of 2024, is General Counsell at Skyloom Global Corp. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she has her JD from Fordham and spent nine years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. When she applied to the Executive MBA program, she was looking to challenge herself to grow. Little did she know she would have a new position only a few months into beginning the program. As she looks towards finishing her time at Darden, she has seen herself not only grow her network, but her competence and confidence in her work.

Salah Al-Chanti, Executive MBA Class of 2024, is a Manager Supply Chain Analytics at Nestle USA. He has lived and worked all over the world and always knew he wanted to study in the U.S. He was drawn to Darden because of the people. The classroom is full of working professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences that bolster the case method experience.
