Darden’s Executive and Part-Time MBA programs are specially designed for working professionals with a lot on their plate. While our students are busy in the classroom, they continue to foster community outside of class too.

The Program Team for the Executive and Part-Time MBA programs assist students as they succeed during their time at Darden. We know how important having a strong support system can be, and work to build spaces for connection.

The Student Connection

Creating a sense of community across the programs is integral to the MBA experience. Students form deep connections with their learning teams and are motivated to create experiences outside of the classroom.

During Weekend Residencies, Executive MBA students often clear their schedules to have time to connect with their peers. While many of the students live within about a 30 mile radius of Washington D.C., the weekend residencies are a special time for the cohorts.

As students invest in their educational experience, I am inspired by their level of dedication and motivation to make an impact at Darden. They are always super eager to build their network, and are committed to supporting their peers every step of the way.

Connections between Charlottesville and Rosslyn

Both the Executive MBA Student Association (ESA) and the Part-Time MBA Student Association (PSA) work throughout the year to plan events with Full-Time MBA students.

All Darden events are a great way our students across MBA formats stay connected. This year, the All Darden Tailgate, co-organized by the student associations, hosted students from all MBA programs in Charlottesville. Students came together for a tailgate and a football game at Scott Stadium.
