It’s not often that all students across UVA Darden’s degree programs are in the same room. However, this exact scenario occurred on the first day of fall semester as Full-Time, Part-Time and Executive MBA students gathered in the largest ballroom at the Forum Hotel to kick off Launch Week 2024.

FULL-TIME MBA
This August, we welcomed 355 students to Charlottesville with the Full-Time MBA Class of 2026. This class includes students from 30 U.S. states and from 30 countries, speaking 44 languages, boosting Darden’s reputation as a vibrant, diverse and global business school.
This Class of 2026 is an impressive group with many accomplishments in the classroom, in their chosen professions and in the community. Darden’s curriculum is largely delivered through the case method of instruction where the diversity of thought and experience of the students is essential to the learning. We have students coming from financial services, government, consulting, technology, nonprofit and other industries.

PART-TIME MBA
The Part-Time MBA Class of 2027 is comprised of 72 working professionals. These students represent 67 unique employers from 21 industries and an average of 6 years of work experience. 91% of students live within 30 miles of UVA Darden DC Metro (Sands Family Grounds), the home base of the Professional Degree Programs at Darden.
With 8 countries represented by citizenship and 42% women, Darden is committed to curating a diverse and inclusive class. When it comes to standardized tests, the average GRE combined total score is 321 and the average GMAT total score is 690. Students may submit tests scores (EA, GMAT, GRE, MCAT or LSAT) or submit a test waiver request.

EXECUTIVE MBA
The Executive MBA Class of 2026 welcomed 119 working professionals from 9 countries and 12 states. With an average age of 35, the class is 28% women, 29% U.S. minority and 43% military service members. Students have an average of 13 years of work experience with 100 employers represented from 25 industries. Members of the class will be traveling to UVA Darden DC Metro from 12 states, including the District of Columbia.
This year, the Executive MBA application is test optional, but students may still choose to submit a test score (EA, GMAT, GRE, MCAT or LSAT).
