As we mentioned earlier this week, we will be sharing winning pictures from the recent Darden Art (DART) Project on the blog throughout the coming weeks. And in light of all the conversation this week about black holes (which of course just so happens to have a UVA connection), we thought we would post this picture of the Milky Way taken by Darden alumnus, Ankit Virmani (MBA 2014). “Observing the Milky Way can get tricky – it is visible only in certain places on earth (with little to no light pollution), at certain times of year, with an element of chance requiring clear skies and no moonlight. This photo was shot near Yellowstone National Park’s Old Faithful geyser, with the Old Faithful Visitor Center in the foreground.”
