The Darden Executive MBA application cycle is in full swing, and our next deadline is right around the corner: 10 January. We have upcoming class visits in the Washington, D.C., area in January and February, and we are currently planning prospective student events in Philadelphia, New York, Boston and beyond in the months ahead.
In the meantime, we are excited to feature a programming series focused on career advice as you continuing exploring our Executive MBA (EMBA) and Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) formats. As we share on The ExecMBA Podcast, our executive format students represent a diverse set of career goals. Some students pursue an MBA to switch function or industry (switchers), while others do so to climb within their organization (climbers). Some even opt to launch their own venture as entrepreneurs. Of course, each student’s career interests are unique, and many of our students will find themselves in more than one of these categories during their time at Darden.

At Darden, you will have a dedicated team of experts to support you as you take the next step in your career. Career advisers Jim Collins, Kellogg Leliveld and Sarita Soldz work most closely with our executive format students, and provide a variety of career resources and expertise — from individual career counseling and career education to workshops and networking events.
In the first quarter of the program, executive format students participate in the Professional Advancement Course (PAC), led by Connie Dunlop, and it’s regularly cited by our alumni as one of the most valuable classes in our program.
